Our 6th Annual Full Steam Ahead 5K will be happening on this Saturday, June 3rd at Van Cortlandt Park! We love hosting this event as it is a great way to support DIPG research and families while having fun! There is only a few days to register for this event! We encourage people of all ages to come together and participate. If you cannot attend the event, you can register as a solo walker or as a team as virtual participants! 100% of the donations raised will go towards research and providing financial support to impacted families. All of us at CRF would like to wish one of our Medical Partners, Dr. Mark Souweidane, a happy birthday! We are grateful for his unwavering support and all of the hard work you do!

Angels are members of our community who have lost the hard battle against DIPG but inspire us to strive for our foundation’s goals. By sharing their personal experiences with DIPG with the rest of the world, we’re able to amplify the urgency to find a cure. We work in honor of our angels so that no other child will lose a life to DIPG again.

This month we remember the birthdays of our Angels! Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones. These angels will never be forgotten.

Sadly on May 9th, 2023, Litzy Molina gained her angel wings after a tough fight against DIPG. At just 5 years old, DIPG stripped her of everything reminding us why it’s so important to continue raising awareness and funds to cure this terrible disease. Litzy will be missed by many and we at CRF, wish her family peace knowing she is finally no longer suffering.
