It takes someone super strong, patient, and brave to support their child in their battle against DIPG. One day your Father’s Day gift will be a cure for DIPG, but for right now, remember that the precious time you spend with your child is the greatest gift of all.

All of us at CRF would like to wish Darlene and Carlos the happiest of birthdays! We could not do what we do here without you, and we appreciate your support and dedication to our cause more than you will ever know. We love you 10!

Maddox Pearl AKA Madman is a wonderful 5-year-old boy who was diagnosed with DIPG at 4 years old on 8/26/22. Prior to diagnosis, Maddox was the never-ending Energizer bunny, from the moment he woke up until the moment he went to bed he was on the go. He was the perfect example of a wild and adventurous little boy. He is an only child and a mommy’s boy.

Before all this Maddox loved anything that had to do with being outside. He loves his dogs, Tyson and Nava, and he loves being with family. He and Katelyn were rarely ever home by themselves – Maddox either wanted people over or he wanted to go somewhere.

Maddox has always been obsessed with trains, specifically steam engines – the more smoke the better! So hop aboard the Maddox Express and let’s push on Full Steam Ahead! Angels are members of our community who have lost the hard battle against DIPG but inspire us to strive for our foundation’s goals. By sharing their personal experiences with DIPG with the rest of the world, we’re able to amplify the urgency to find a cure. We work in honor of our angels so that no other child will lose a life to DIPG again.

This month we remember the birthdays of our Angels! Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and loved ones. These angels will never be forgotten.
