The Cristian Rivera Foundation’s (CRF) mission is to find a cure for D.I.P.G., which requires fundraising for important medical research and clinical trials and to support our D.I.P.G. warriors and their families. When CRF was created in 2009, there were no survivors of DIPG. Now, our partnership medical trials have produced survivors and children are living longer than ever before. To date, we have donated over $3,000,000 (3 million dollars) to research and family support. Last November 2023, our gala allowed us to make a record-breaking donation of $500,000 (1/2 a million dollars) to our partnership medical trial with Dr. Mark Souweidane at Weill-Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Oren Becher at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital and for direct family support.
