The Cristian Rivera Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization seeking to rid the world of D.I.P.G. by funding research, spreading awareness, and supporting families. Lisha was diagnosed with D.I.P.G. at the age of 7 years old and given only 9 months to live. The Cristian Rivera Foundation helped to fund Dr. Souweidane’s clinical trial which Lisha participated in soon after she was diagnosed. She responded well to the treatment and the doctors were miraculously able to stabilize her tumor. Because of Dr. Mark Souweidane’s trial, Lisha is 20 years old today, but her fight is not over.
