Can I make a donation in addition to paying the registration fee?<\/strong>
<\/p>\n

Yes and we encourage you to do so! You will have the option to make an additional donation when registering.<\/p>\n

Is any portion of my registration fee tax-deductible?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No. The entry fee helps cover the cost of producing the 6th Annual Cristian Rivera Foundation Full Steam Ahead 5K and includes a participant t-shirt. This is why fundraising is so important! All donations made or raised above and beyond your entry fee are tax-deductible.<\/p>\n

TEAM INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

How do I create a team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can create a team when you register online by selecting the option to \u201cCreate a Team<\/a>\u201d \u2013 you will become the Team Captain and will be asked to enter the Team Name. Those who wish to join your team can then register by selecting the option to \u201cJoin a Team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Is there a limit on team size?<\/strong><\/p>\n

No \u2013 sign up as many teammates as you can!<\/p>\n

How do I join a team?<\/strong><\/p>\n

To join an existing team, select the \u201cJoin a Team<\/a>\u201d option, and search for the team name. Once you find the team you wish to join, click Join, and proceed with registration.<\/p>\n

Can I join a team if I am already registered as an individual?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes! Please contact us<\/a>, and we will set the team up for you.<\/p>\n

Can I create a new team after I have registered as an individual?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes! Please contact us<\/a>, and we will set the team up for you.<\/p>\n

I am a Team Captain \u2013 can I enroll all members of my team at one time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes. If you have a large team of more than 5 people to register, please contact us<\/a> and we will be happy to assist you.<\/p>\n

Can I pay for my whole team by company check?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, a team can submit one check from its company for every team member\u2019s registration fee.<\/p>\n

How do we register our company team if paying by check?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will provide the Team Captain with a discount code that he or she will need to provide to each team member, who will then enter it when registering online. No credit card information will be required. Please note that discount codes cannot be issued until payment is received, so you will need to confirm the number of team members in advance. We appreciate the extra effort and planning this requires. Please contact crf5k@cristianriverafoundation.org<\/a> if you plan to pay by company check.<\/p>\n

When will I receive my shirt?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

All registrants will receive their shirts on the day of the event.<\/p>\n

How can I fundraise?<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Upon registration, you will be receiving a personalized email which you can forward to your friends and family encouraging donations. In addition, you can post about the event on your social media accounts encouraging others to join you and donate to the cause!<\/p>\n

How will the team competitions work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Team competitions will be based on what team raises the most money to fight DIPG. The team who raises the most money will win the competition and a prize!<\/p>\n

FUNDRAISING INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is there a minimum fundraising requirement?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Minimum Suggested Fundraising amount is $200.00 per participant. But we encourage each person to raise as much as possible. Every dollar you raise will help us sustain and grow our programs. Together we can beat DIPG.<\/p>\n

How will this event help fund DIPG research and trials?<\/strong><\/p>\n

100% of each donation raised in support of each participant will directly go towards ground-breaking scientific research and trials.<\/p>\n

How do I turn in any pledges collected offline?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have collected checks or cash in support of your participation, you may submit your collected pledges along with our offline donation form<\/a> by mail to:<\/p>\n
