About the Event
Hundreds of supporters will participate in the 7th Annual CRF Full Steam Ahead 5K on Sat June 15th from 9A – 12N at Van Cortlandt Park, Cross Country Parade Ground Broadway 1 (Registration & Starting Line will be across the street from Lloyd’s Carrot Cake located at 6087 Broadway, Bronx NY which is closer to 251st Street & Broadway, Bronx NY (Look For the Turtle & Rabbit Statue), a fundraising event to help support medical facilities that conduct innovative research and clinical trials, increase public awareness of DIPG, and raise funds to support DIPG families. Your reason for running (or walking!) could inspire others to sign up and support the cause. By hopping aboard, we can help the 200-300 children who are diagnosed each year. Let’s make 2024 the year we say goodbye to DIPG! “Full Steam Ahead”

Team Information
You can create a team when you register online by selecting the option to “Create a Team” – you will become the Team Captain and will be asked to enter the Team Name. Those who wish to join your team can then register by selecting the option to “Join a Team.”

To join an existing team, select the “Join a Team” option, and search for the team name. Once you find the team you wish to join, click Join, and proceed with registration.

Yes. If you have a large team of more than 5 people to register, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
Yes, a team can submit one check from its company for every team member’s registration fee.
We will provide the Team Captain with a discount code that he or she will need to provide to each team member, who will then enter it when registering online. No credit card information will be required. Please note that discount codes cannot be issued until payment is received, so you will need to confirm the number of team members in advance. We appreciate the extra effort and planning this requires. Please contact crf5k@cristianriverafoundation.org if you plan to pay by company check.
All registrants will receive their shirts on the day of the event.
Upon registration, you will be receiving a personalized email which you can forward to your friends and family encouraging donations. In addition, you can post about the event on your social media accounts encouraging others to join you and donate to the cause!
Team competitions will be based on what team raises the most money to fight DIPG. The team who raises the most money will win the competition and a prize!
Fundraising Information
The Minimum Suggested Fundraising amount is $200.00 per participant. But we encourage each person to raise as much as possible. Every dollar you raise will help us sustain and grow our programs. Together we can beat DIPG.
100% of each donation raised in support of each participant will directly go towards ground-breaking scientific research and trials.
